The only important thing from a store managers perspective is whether using ISC will maintain profitability. It's certainly still profitable and despite all the aggravations has been worth it weight for me, but without any support unless you know a lot about code or have in house developers to fix ...

If I can put a product together - comprising of one or more other products or variations - when product sold it deletes the appropriate stock from the inventory (product or variation) - will buy :)

This is more commonly known as 'bundling' or 'kitting' and is a massive hole in ISC/BC. Would be interested in helping in any way, maybe testing (not coding sadly). Let me comment too :)

Maybe Squeeze page is a term used in certain sectors or is a colloquialism. Certainly not used in the UK for a non 'eCommerce' style page and I have been at the front-edge of eCommerce developments for over 15 years.
