Pushing info to the Shipper

I have seen this discussed and kinda just left for dead. I need my orders to push to the amazon web fulfillment service. I understand that this can happen just that the core needs to be added to via Web handlers.
Has anyone attemped this and if so what were some of the roadblocks.
This can then be used on all the shippers which would eliminate the manual step of sending the info.

Thoughts?

If you are interested in the code for the amazon fulfillment mod please let me know. It is in beta still but fully functional as far as giving quotes from the amazon service.

Was this what you were trying to get to re: the Royal Mail thing?

If so, do you mean, sort of pushing an order/shipping request to the shipping provider so that it appears on their system?

Would like to have the info automatically be send after the order is placed on my site and sent to the shipper.

Gotcha...

I've shifted gears on this, split and moved the related bit of the Royal Mail thread into here as well... Might want to pick which thread to keep discussing this on though as we're duplicating this discussion now.

Yeah... think this naturally lends itself to me pointing you to this thread and locking this one so we can keep a more linear topic going :)
