Hi, Does anyone know how i can add an automatic credit card surcharge to the checkout? I want to charge customers an extra 2% to their order total for using a credit card, but NOT if they pay via debit card. is this possible?

I've often wanted to do this with my customers who use PayPal instead of a credit card.
Currently my prices are calculated based on the assumption that all customers will use PayPal... but I'd like to figure out a way to give credit card customers a small discount for NOT using PayPal.
It's a small annoyance, and if I got rid of PayPal completely, then my overall sales (and profit) would go down... so I'm going to continue to offer PayPal as a payment source. Still, I truly (TRULY!) dislike them and I'd like to reward my customers by encouraging them to pay by credit card.

Ditto on this - Paypal percentages are too high but I can't see a customer who sees a price for a product being enthused (did I spell that right) after they have ordered something and are about to pay for it being hit with a surcharge - may be counter productive and the difference between getting a sale and completing it and not - In order for a Paypal surcharge to work IMO all websites would have to impliment it so it becomes a standard on the web
