[Solved] jQzoom & Safari not working properly.

Post by stam »

Hi All,
the last few days I am trying to figure out why jQzoom does not work properly on Safari (my version is 5.1.5 on Mac OS X 10.6.8).

The first time page loads zoom is working as it should. Though, if user moves the cursor out outside image's borders and then inside again, the zoom is stacked at the left top corner. Page has to be refreshed in order to get zoom function again.

I have search many ISC stores and they all facing the same issue. Does anybody deal with this issue? Or, maybe have installed a different zoom script, such as Cloud Zoom...

Thanks in advance,
Stam.

Got it! The problem is caused by enabling 'AdBlock' safari extension...

Glad you figured it out... I had a similar problem that baffled me for DAYS! My ad-blocking feature was configured to block any image that contained "banner" in the filename. In general this works fine... but only when it's an actual AD with "banner" as part of its name. But it was also blocking a non-ad banner I'd added to my site... that happened to include b-a-n-n-e-r in its filename.

Renaming the file did the trick.
